Whiskey & Steel was created with a simple belief: grooming should feel like a ritual, not a routine. The vision was to elevate men’s grooming through precision, atmosphere, and a space intentionally crafted for the modern man. What began as a traditional barbershop concept has evolved into a refined private suite experience — where craftsmanship, comfort, and calm meet.

The suite blends timeless character with modern sophistication. A custom walnut station with warm brass accents sets the foundation for the space, complemented by soft lighting, subtle scent, and a curated mix of modern and vintage details. The environment feels focused, minimal, and intentional — designed to help you slow down and actually enjoy the process.

Every service is shaped by care and precision. Detailed scissor work, beard grooming and hot towel touches are all approached with intention. Extended appointment times allow for thorough consultations, refined technique, and results that feel tailored, consistent, and personal. Each haircut includes a hot towel neck shave — a small moment of tradition layered into a modern experience.

The name Whiskey & Steel pays homage to the heritage of grooming. Early aftershaves were made with alcohol — the “whiskey” — and straight razors were forged from steel. Together, they reflect the blend of tradition and modern craftsmanship that defines the brand.

With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Sean discovered his passion for barbering in high school. His work is defined by precision, structure, and an intentional approach behind the chair. Every service is built on strong consultation, a detailed understanding of head shape, and tailored results that align with each client’s lifestyle.

He is also an educator for Keune, where he leads Barber Relay programs focused on advancing barber education. In this role, he helps stylists simplify their process, refine their technique, and elevate execution through clear systems, technical clarity, and hands-on development.

He values refinement—the subtle adjustments that elevate work from good to exceptional. Sean is drawn to clean silhouettes, natural movement, and finishes that feel effortless yet deliberate. He believes mastery comes from clarity, not chaos, and that understanding the “why” behind the work creates consistency, efficiency, and stronger artistry behind the chair.
